About the role
As a Founder’s Office & Technology Intern at DevTrackAcademy, you’ll work closely with the founder across technology, product, research, and startup initiatives.
You’ll work on real problems rather than predefined classroom assignments. Some projects may involve building small applications, internal tools, AI-powered workflows, automations, prototypes, or product features. Others may involve researching a technology, evaluating a solution, investigating a problem, or improving an existing system.
You’ll also get practical exposure to the complete development lifecycle — from understanding a problem and researching solutions to building, testing, deploying, debugging, and maintaining software in a real-world environment.
What you'll do
- Build small-scale applications, prototypes, tools, and automations.
- Research technologies, APIs, AI tools, products, markets, and competitors.
- Work on technical and product challenges assigned by the founder.
- Experiment with new technologies and turn ideas into working prototypes.
- Develop and improve existing applications and features.
- Work with APIs, databases, cloud services, hosting, and deployment.
- Debug, maintain, and improve applications and infrastructure.
- Explore AI-powered development workflows and automation.
- Collect and analyze user feedback to improve products.
- Document technical decisions, solutions, and processes.
- Take ownership of tasks from research and planning through implementation.
- Support other projects and initiatives as DevTrackAcademy’s priorities evolve.
What we're looking for
- You have built projects independently and can demonstrate what you have created.
- You enjoy solving problems and figuring things out on your own.
- You are confident learning technologies you have never used before.
- You have a basic understanding of software development, web technologies, APIs, databases, or similar technical concepts.
- You are comfortable using Git/GitHub or willing to learn it quickly.
- You can research a problem, understand the available options, and implement a practical solution.
- You take ownership instead of waiting for step-by-step instructions.
- You are comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- You communicate clearly and can explain what you built and why.
- You are curious about AI, cloud infrastructure, software development, and startups.
- You are willing to experiment, make mistakes, learn, and iterate.
- Your ability to learn and build matters more to us than knowing a particular framework or technology.
Nice to have
- Experience building and deploying personal or college projects.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Familiarity with Docker, Linux, CI/CD, or basic infrastructure.
- Experience working with databases and REST APIs.
- Experience building AI/LLM-powered applications.
- Familiarity with modern web frameworks and development tools.
- Experience with automation tools or developer productivity tools.
- Experience contributing to GitHub projects or open-source software.
- Interest in product development and early-stage startups.
